Job summary

Motion Recruitment is partnering with a leading Financial Services client in Charlotte, NC for a Product Owner on a long-term hybrid contract. You will own and prioritize the backlog, collaborate with stakeholders and engineering, and translate business needs into actionable user stories.

Focus on delivering workflow tools, primarily Power Platform-based, in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong Agile experience, CRM familiarity (Dynamics/Salesforce), and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• Product Owner experience within large enterprise environments.
• Large enterprise banking background (Corporate/Investment Banking strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Agile / SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to balance business needs with technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage product backlog, prioritization, and sprint execution within Agile teams.
• Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Support development and delivery of workflow tools (primarily Power Platform-based).
• Navigate ambiguity and drive progress in a fast-moving, lightly documented environment.
• Communicate effectively across both business and technical teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Product Owner experience within large enterprise environments

Hands-on experience with:

• Strong knowledge of Agile / SDLC methodologies
• Experience with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to lending / credit workflows
• Familiarity with tools such as nCino or Loan IQ
• Background in integrations / APIs / enterprise systems
