Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Product Manager to lead design, delivery, and enablement of portal capabilities for insurance-focused products. You will align stakeholders, analytics, and development teams to drive capability enablement and a fast-to-market product vision.

The role requires strong communication, a proven track record in launching software with cross-functional teams, and the ability to manage complex backlogs and acceptance criteria within an agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and enablement of business capabilities within an internally or externally facing portal product.
• Ensure a consistent design and capabilities framework.
• Communicate and influence stakeholders, technical teams, and service-focused individuals across the organization.
• Drive operational excellence and high engagement through metric-driven outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data analytics, state bureaus, and development teams to determine solutions for capability enablement.
• Implement the product vision and roadmap.
• Prioritize the product backlog to meet objectives and deliver stakeholder value.
• Refine roadmap features into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
• Serve as the primary contact for the product and related processes.
• Participate in product planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure consistent methodology in capability design and implementation through product evaluation and inspection.
• Guide the business on designs and solutions that enable insurance products and processes with speed to market and ease of implementation.
• Document business requirements and process workflows as needed.
• Report to the VP, Head of Product Management
• Drive the platform's scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, development, or relevant experience


• Property & casualty insurance experience is a plus


• Experience transforming user experience portals is a plus
