Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on Product Operations professional to drive cross-functional execution, optimize processes, and leverage AI to automate support and workflows. You will work closely with product, engineering, and customer success to translate decisions into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

The role is hybrid with in-person collaboration at the NYC HQ at least 2 days/week, and requires 3+ years in related roles.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, program management, customer experience, technical support, consulting, or another customer-facing analytical role in a fast-moving software company.
  • Highly process-oriented; able to turn ambiguous cross-functional work into clear owners, milestones, decisions, and next steps.
  • Actively use AI to get real work done and demonstrate what you have automated, analyzed, or built.
  • Able to use qualitative feedback and data to identify patterns, diagnose root causes, size problems, and measure whether a product or operational fix reduced customer friction.
  • Write with precision and empathy; explain complicated product changes or technical issues clearly.
  • Drive ownership and clarity across product, engineering, customer success, customers, and external partners.
  • Nice-to-have: technical fluency with APIs, integrations, debugging, or data analysis.
  • Nice-to-have: experience in B2B SaaS, travel, fintech, or another operationally complex product.
  • Comfortable working in-person at NYC HQ at least 2 days/week.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in product management, product operations, or strategy & operations roles.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run operating systems that help Juno ship reliably and support customers at scale.
  • Turn product decisions into operating plans and maintain visibility in Linear.
  • Coordinate customer testing and launch readiness.
  • Manage commitments, risks, dependencies, documentation, internal enablement, and customer communications across the launch lifecycle.
  • Serve as first line of defense for product-related customer issues across email and chat.
  • Join customer calls when needed and manage escalations through resolution.
  • Route travel-service questions to the appropriate travel partner.
  • Analyze support trends and customer feedback, diagnose recurring friction, size problems, and provide findings and recommended actions.
  • Build AI-powered workflows, automations, knowledge systems, and self-service experiences.
  • Partner with product and engineering to make decisions executable and ensure commitments are delivered.
