Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Head of Product Operations in South San Francisco to build and lead a fast-scaling Product Operations function. You will improve how products are planned, built, launched, measured, and operated across multiple teams, ensuring launches are measurable and successful.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, or related leadership roles.
• Experience building Product Operations functions at a high-growth technology company.
• Strong program management skills with experience coordinating large, complex product launches.

Responsibilities

• Build the Product Operating System to standardize planning, roadmaps, launches, and post-launch measurement.
• Define launch readiness standards across engineering, operations, legal, safety, customer support, and commercial teams.
• Build dashboards that measure product health, launch quality, adoption, reliability, and customer outcomes.
• Develop templates, documentation, and tooling to empower Product Managers to solve customer problems.
• Improve cross-functional execution by clarifying ownership and decision-making frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional launch planning for major initiatives and ensure smooth transitions into operations.
• Establish scalable feedback loops from field operations, customer support, and customers to inform product opportunities.
• Scale the organization with planning frameworks, portfolio management, and resource allocation.
