Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Product Operations Intern for TikTok Shop Apps and API in Seattle for Summer 2027. The role focuses on gathering requirements and designing partner-friendly product solutions within the Open API Platform and Shop Apps ecosystem.

You will work with cross-functional teams, conduct market research, help prioritize features, and participate in the product development lifecycle, including user acceptance testing, to ensure high-quality launches.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in CS or related Business major.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Great communicator & team-partner.
• Comfortable navigating complex organizational structures & aligning objectives with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical, data sensitive & goal-driven.
• Comfortable with setting ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial & error iterations and constantly improving.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative market studies to gather insights into Sellers, ISV Partners and other roles in social content-based Commerce.
• Partner with the product management team to devise product strategy to ensure long term vision and success for the product.
• Combine ROI analysis, dependency analysis and other techniques to prioritize the product requirements.
• Participate in the product development lifecycle, review artifacts to ensure quality.
• Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and optimal user experience prior to product launch.
