Job summary

Pansophic Learning is hiring a Product Operations Engineer to design, code, and test software for our K-12 learning platforms. You will administer Canvas, SIS, and third-party integrations to support global expansion and reliability.

Responsibilities include RESTful services with NodeJS, AWS-based hosting, and collaborating with developers and product owners to improve current and future systems while ensuring data mapping and a strong user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical or electronics engineering, information systems, systems engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience administering Canvas LMS, SIS, and Clever integrations.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn new systems and backend reporting.
• Experience developing web services, web apps, and modern UIs.
• 3+ years of experience with NodeJS; Unix/Linux experience.
• Familiarity with AWS services: S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, EC2, CloudFront.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test software solutions for K-12 schools’ learning environment.
• Design, implement and test RESTful web services using NodeJS, Google Apps Script, and Postman.
• Work with AWS to build, host and maintain application environments.
• Maintain source code repos and branching strategies with Git.
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
• Provide troubleshooting support for production issues and deployments.
• Contribute to UI design and development; collaborate with teams.
• Set up and administer systems (SIS, LMS, integrations) for new schools.
• Coordinate data mapping for learning ecosystem; work with enrollment teams.
• Coordinate operations and communicate incidents/maintenance to stakeholders.
• Create documentation and provide training; support year-end activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical or electronics engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or equivalent degree
