Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to drive improvements in the Canvas LMS and PowerSchool experience for educators and students. This role focuses on implementation, integrations, and UX design to ensure Canvas works with third-party tools and supports learning at scale.

You will own the backlog, write clear user stories, collaborate with engineering and curriculum teams, measure adoption with dashboards, and create training materials to support rollout of new canvas features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; tech or instructional tech background preferred.
• 4–8 years in product management or LMS administration; Canvas/PowerSchool preferred.
• Strong understanding of LMS integrations and standards (LTI/QTI/SCORM/xAPI).
• Experience collaborating with educators, admins, and instructional designers.
• Excellent collaboration, translating user needs into technical requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Passion for improving digital learning and student-centered experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Canvas features across K-12 environments.
• Guide implementation of PowerSchool features across K-12 environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and curriculum teams to optimize UX.
• Evaluate, integrate, and manage 3rd party tools within Canvas (LTI/QTI/SCORM/xAPI).
• Gather user feedback to identify pain points and priorities.
• Own the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Create training materials, release notes, and demos to support rollout.
