Job summary

Primis is seeking a Product Operations Associate in NYC to bridge product and operations. You will own front-line learnings that shape the roadmap and work with customers to gather requirements and milestones.

In this high-ownership role, you’ll digitize processes, map data between systems, and propose improvements while supporting new client implementations. Hybrid in NYC with in-office days.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in operations, product operations, or a similar execution-heavy function, ideally at an early-stage startup.
• Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements and align on launch milestones
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, you represent us with external partners and customers
• Proficient in Airtable, Excel/Google Sheets, and similar platforms
• Track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Responsibilities

• Form digitization: Translate paper-based workflows and real-world complexity into clean platform configurations.
• Data mapping: Build solutions that connect our platform with new vendor and customer systems using complex logic.
• Process optimization: Surface patterns and inefficiencies; propose and test solutions that make the team move faster.
• Product feedback loop: Translate front-line learnings into product improvements, work with Product to prioritize tooling and automations.
• Implementation support: Own playbooks, FAQs, and runbooks. Support Solutions and CS on new client implementations and escalated issues.

Primis are partnered with a first-of-its-kind FinTech start-up, building modern workflow and communication products for financial services. They are well-funded, approaching PMF, and growing fast and looking for a sharp operator to sit at the intersection of Product and Operations.

The role

You'll stand out if you have

• Experience at a company with fewer than 100 people at time of joining, or Series B or earlier
• Fintech, financial services, insurance, B2B SaaS, health tech, HR tech, or proptech background
• Prior experience founding a company or launching a product, even as a side project
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools and automated workflows

Hybrid in New York City - in office Tuesday through Thursday.
