Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a Product Mechanical Engineer for our Fort Worth, TX client. The role is 100% onsite, full-time, with responsibilities spanning design, validation, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical fixtures and machines used in PCBA and FA production.

Requires 2+ years in fixture design and strong CAD skills. Salary ranges USD65,000–USD70,000 per year plus Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in mechanical/assembly fixture design and production engineering.
• Hands-on experience with strain gauge testing and Gauge R&R.
• Familiarity with PCBA and FA production processes preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of PFMEA and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate mechanical/assembly fixtures and machines for PCBA and FA.
• Review preventive maintenance for fixtures and machines in production areas.
• Create prototype fixtures for PCBA and FA production processes.
• Provide fixture analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead PFMEA and MECN reviews, track updates and implement actions.
