Cengage Group is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to translate market insights into clear messaging and enablement assets. You will partner with Product Management, GTM teams, and Sales to support market-informed positioning and launch readiness across assigned products.

You will lead market dynamics analysis, voice-of-customer collection, and the development of value propositions and buyer personas while informing the roadmap with field insights.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of product marketing and GTM concepts including product positioning, customer segmentation and GTM readiness.
• Ability to analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to translate insights into actionable messaging and enablement materials.
• Proven ability to influence decision-making across cross-functional teams through insights and partnership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for concise product messaging and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Support GTM readiness and product launches by coordinating messaging, enablement assets, and timelines across Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
• Lead analysis of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and roadmap communication.
• Capture voice-of-customer insights to support messaging, enablement materials, and launch readiness.
• Shape and influence product roadmap by providing market and field-informed inputs in collaboration with Product Management.
• Develop and maintain foundational product messaging, including value propositions, target personas, and product descriptions.
• Collaborate with Sales Enablement to create sales demos, one-pagers, and product messaging for outbound efforts.
• Own product messaging across web and marketing channels for accuracy and alignment with strategy.
• Drive industry visibility through awards, sponsorships, certifications, and tradeshows; lead content for events and webinars.
