Product Marketing Manager

GoodParty.org – an AI-driven tech platform transforming our democracy – is looking for a Product Marketing Manager. This 100% remote role will own clear positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and lifecycle communications to ensure our tools are effectively adopted and used by candidates and elected officials all over the country.

GoodParty.org is on a mission to make people matter more than money in our democracy by empowering independent candidates to run, win, and serve. Our AI-powered platform provides free tools to independent candidates to run their campaigns, connect with voters, and serve their communities effectively.

A majority of eligible voters, including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans nor Democrats represent them. GoodParty.org is the solution. With 3,444 independent candidate wins across 48 states last year, these elected officials come from across the ideological spectrum. They prioritize people over parties and community over corporate interests. In 2024, 40.3 million voters (26% of all voters) cast a ballot for our candidates. We’re not a political party, we’re a platform and a movement.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Farhad Mohit ($1B+ in exits, including Flipagram/TikTok and Shopzilla), GoodParty.org is building solutions so we can have a truly representative democracy where society’s biggest problems are solved.

What you’ll do:

1. Own product positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy for product improvements.
2. Provide strategic oversight on product positioning to ensure alignment with our value proposition. Manage and implement messaging standards for key product features and brand identity. Ensure message consistency across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
3. Develop and execute launch plans, using data to assess and optimize strategies for conversion, GTM performance, and product adoption across web, product, and marketing channels.
4. Conduct user interviews and surveys to understand needs, behaviors, and decision-making. Create and maintain user personas and spearhead initiatives to collect and update audience insights.
5. Analyze competitors and create content to highlight our differentiation.
6. Create case studies, demo decks, and product tours to showcase how our features help candidates win.
7. Own all lifecycle marketing communications with users from initial engagement to referral.
8. Identify growth loops within the product to maximize user engagement and retention.
9. Collaborate on a fast, results-driven team. Report to Director of Growth.

Who we’re looking for:

1. 4+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in tech, SaaS, startup environments. Experience in product messaging, positioning, GTM strategies, and market research where you’ve taken a new product to market.
2. Deep understanding of the most useful AI tools and a strong track record of leveraging them. You already integrate AI into your workflows to optimize messaging, market research, and execution.
3. Proven ability to translate complex product language into clear, compelling, and user-friendly messaging.
4. Excellent understanding of the marketing tech stack and marketing channels to craft and execute comprehensive launch plans.
5. Excellent copywriting skills with expertise in conversion copywriting.
6. Experience handling website content, conversion optimization, and product-related news releases to ensure a cohesive brand narrative.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive forward through ambiguity.
8. You’ve got experience studying, working, or volunteering in politics, civics, or democracy reform.
9. You’re sick of sitting on the sidelines watching our democracy fail to meet its potential.

The salary range is $105,000 to $135,000 for this remote, full-time position with excellent benefits. The top end of the range may extend to $145,000 for candidates who can demonstrate exceptional expertise as an AI-first, cutting-edge product marketer. Title will also be commensurate with experience (e.g. Senior Product Marketing Manager).

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, seniority, education, qualifications, certifications, and organizational needs. We reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
