Metaplex powers one of the largest blockchain developer ecosystems in the world, providing the on-chain infrastructure needed to launch tokens and NFTs on Solana and the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM). As the leading protocol for digital assets, Metaplex has facilitated the creation of over 800 million assets and powered $10 billion in transaction value across 10.8 million unique signers. The Metaplex Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and growing this ecosystem.

The Opportunity

As Metaplex expands its reach, we’re hiring a Product Marketing Lead to shape narrative, positioning, and go-to-market for the next generation of the Metaplex Program Library (MPL). You’ll translate deep technical work—especially around token-generation events (TGEs) and new primitives for capital formation—into stories that resonate with builders and institutions, then ship launch plans that drive real adoption.

In This Role You Will
  • Attract top-tier builders by bringing to market new onchain infrastructure and tooling for tokens and NFTs that enable fair launches for long term builders.
  • Position Metaplex as the default stack for institutional issuers through messaging that highlights compliance tooling and large-scale token issuance workflows.
  • Spotlight emerging verticals such as real-world assets (RWAs) and permissioned DeFi to illustrate the breadth of institutional use cases the MPL stack can unlock.
  • Own end-to-end GTM strategy for compliant, high-profile asset issuance and token launches.
  • Develop co-marketing playbooks and campaign briefs that meet partner objectives while staying within regulatory guidelines.
  • Craft clear, differentiated messaging that underscores Metaplex’s speed, cost efficiency, and composability for both developer and enterprise audiences.
  • Equip partners with collateral, ecosystem metrics, media support to accelerate time-to-market.
  • Work cross-functionally with business development, developer relations, legal, communications, and engineering to keep strategy and execution tightly aligned.
  • Define KPIs for every launch, track performance, and iterate on GTM tactics to drive continuous improvement and ecosystem growth.
  • 5+ years in product or growth marketing, with at least 2 years in crypto, fintech, or capital-markets technology.
  • Proven record owning end-to-end launches in a fast-moving, startup environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—you can turn complex specs into narratives that build consensus.
  • Data-driven mindset with high attention to detail
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, tight timelines, and stealth-mode features.

Bonus Points

  • Genuine curiosity about the intersection of blockchain and AI—natural language interfaces, onchain agents or generative dev tooling.

Location: Remote (U.S. Time Zone Working Hours)

Compensation and benefits: The base compensation range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in the Metaplex’s Foundation’s token incentive plan. Final offer amount will be at the Metaplex Foundation’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
