Job summary

Josh Pros LLC seeks a product leader to own the roadmap, write detailed specs, and prototype ideas that move a two-sided marketplace for brands and properties from concept to launch.

You will collaborate with founders, engineering, design, and customers to shape the platform, analyze usage data, and translate insights into shipped features. On-site role in New York with competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in product, ideally at an early-stage startup, marketplace, or B2B SaaS company.
  • Real product shipped to real users, with clear outcomes you can point to.
  • You prototype: you build working versions of your ideas instead of waiting on design.
  • Clear, concise writer whose specs leave nothing to guess

Job description

Applying takes about two minutes. No account, no portal, and a human reads it.

About this role
About the company

A venture-backed marketplace modernizing how brands buy sports and live event sponsorships. Most of this market still runs on cold email, spreadsheets, and one-off negotiations, with no central place to buy it the way brands buy digital media. This company is building that platform, connecting brands with sports teams, leagues, venues, festivals, and entertainment properties. Clients include major national brands and professional sports properties.

The role

You will own how product gets built. You will decide what comes next, write the specs, prototype ideas, and carry them through to launch. The platform is a two-sided marketplace, and you will work across the full experience for both brands and properties. You will work directly with the founders, engineering, design, and customers, and what you decide gets built.

What you will do
  • Own the roadmap: turn customer feedback, data, and company direction into a prioritized plan the team believes in
  • Write specs clear enough that engineers can build without a follow up meeting
  • Prototype quickly, using AI tools to build clickable, working versions of ideas before committing engineering time
  • Dig into product data to understand how customers really use the platform, and turn it into decisions
  • Talk with customers every week and pull out what matters most
  • Run launches end to end, measure results, and decide what comes next
  • Partner with the sales and partnerships teams so field feedback shapes the product
  • Help build out the product function as the company grows
What they are looking for
  • Results over titles: they care what you have shipped, not your title or tenure
  • 2+ years in product, ideally at an early-stage startup, marketplace, or B2B SaaS company. Former founders and engineers who moved into product are welcome
  • Real product shipped to real users, with clear outcomes you can point to
  • You prototype: you build working versions of your ideas instead of waiting on design
  • Clear, concise writer whose specs leave nothing to guess
  • Fluent in data and product analytics
  • Strong product taste: you know what great software feels like and notice when something is off
  • Understanding of marketplaces, or a strong drive to learn them
  • High agency: when there is no playbook, you write one
Nice to have
  • Background in sports, live events, media buying, or adtech
  • Experience as a founder or early startup employee

Location: New York, NY (On-site)
