Job summary

Rnb Consultancy in New York City is looking for the first product manager to partner with the founder. You will own the roadmap, build fast AI-driven prototypes, and write specs engineers can act on immediately. You’ll lead product analytics and use data to drive bold changes, shaping a fast-growing marketplace.

You’ll run product and engineering together with the founder and help grow the team over time, as the company scales its on-site operation in SoHo.

Job description

You prototype with AI instead of waiting for design, and you live in the data. Be the first PM at a fast-growing marketplace.

A seed-stage startup in New York is building the marketplace for a huge category of brand marketing that's still bought through inbox threads, spreadsheets and personal relationships. Household-name brands already buy through it. What's being bought is complex, so the product has to make it simple. You'll become the founder's sparring partner on product and take over the hands-on product work he's doing himself today.

What you'll own

• The roadmap: customer feedback, data and company direction turned into a plan the team believes in
• Fast prototypes: clickable, working versions built with AI tools before any engineering time is spent
• Concise specs that are clear enough for engineers to start building right away
• Big changes from idea to measured result, like redesigning a core flow or launching a new one
• The product analytics, and the decisions that come out of them
• Running product and engineering together with the founder, and growing the product team over time

Must-haves

• 2+ years of product experience after graduating. Ex-founders and engineers turned PM are very welcome; this isn't a role for new grads.
• You turn ideas into clickable, working prototypes yourself, using AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor or Figma
• You run your own analytics (SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar) and make decisions from them
• Web-app product depth, not only mobile
• You've owned big, meaningful changes, not small tweaks to an existing product
• On-site in SoHo every weekday, with long days (roughly 9 to 9)

Bonus points

• Early-stage marketplace or B2B SaaS experience
• A portfolio or a live prototype you built
• Experience in sports, events, media buying or advertising technology
