Job summary

Benchling, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager for the Study Lifecycle team. You will own the roadmap for Studies, Sample Testing, and Process Development, guiding how experimental data connects to analysis and downstream insights.

You will partner with design, engineering, and GTM teams, gather customer feedback, and iterate with prototypes and data-driven experiments to accelerate drug development workflows.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of product management or equivalent experience.
• Diverse career history across 2-3 domains demonstrates systems thinking.
• Proven product taste with ability to translate user needs into a feature.
• Architectural fluency in data models, state machines, or schema design.
• Technical tool competency with SQL or prototyping tools.
• Clear communication and ability to lead discussions with stakeholders.
• Track record of outcomes across roles.
• Intellectual range and curiosity driving problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for Studies, Sample Testing, and Process Development, tying data to analysis.
• Spend time with customers and GTM teams to translate feedback into direction.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, GTM and customers to ship products.
• Use tools (SQL, AI, prototyping) to answer questions, validate ideas, or build prototypes.
