Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Product Manager focused on security features to extend the core database and ClickHouse Cloud offerings. You will engage with an active OSS community, prioritize security-related capabilities, and drive data-driven improvements that meet customer needs.

You have deep experience with database security, OLAP tech like ClickHouse, and a track record in open-source product management. This role supports a global, remote-friendly team with strong collaboration and customer

Qualifications

• Proven experience with database security principles and best practices.
• Knowledgeable and passionate about data engineering markets (data warehousing, data analytics, security, observability).
• Strong vision about where these markets are headed and how to lead in this space.
• Previous experience with ClickHouse or a highly related OLAP technology at a deeply technical level.
• Previous experience with open-source projects, ideally as a product manager.
• Passionate about building enterprise capabilities that are powerful yet easy to use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving based on business needs.
• Ability and desire to work with customers or community members during their POC.

Responsibilities

• Understand real-time analytics and cloud database markets, competition, and technology trends in depth.
• Engage with the ClickHouse open-source user community and ClickHouse Cloud customers to understand use cases.
• Distill and prioritize feature requests into clear priorities for new capabilities and improvements.
• Work with engineering teams to scope and refine approaches to solving customer problems in core database and ClickHouse Cloud offerings.
• Set clear measurable goals around customer success and use data-driven approaches to ensure new capabilities meet needs.
• Stay up-to-date on market landscape to identify features aligning with roadmap and community requests.
• Collaborate with partners to grow ClickHouse awareness and visibility.
