Job summary

Rover is hiring a Product Manager focused on the Search Experience to improve how pet parents find care providers. You will balance customer empathy, analytical rigor, and technical fluency to craft intuitive search experiences that drive measurable improvements for owners and sitters.

You will partner with UX and Data Science to understand how providers are deemed the best match by predictive models and translate insights into explanations and features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional product management experience, preferably in search, discovery, or content ranking systems.
• Experience building features related to search and e-commerce, such as personalization, recommendations, and digital shopping experiences.
• Experience partnering with UX teams to build great online experiences for users.
• Deep customer empathy and experience applying user research and behavioral data to guide decisions.
• Proven success delivering complex, data-intensive products with measurable customer impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and improve search experiences to optimize user satisfaction and business impact.
• Collaborate with UX and Data Science to translate insights into user-friendly explanations.
• Explore applying new technologies to streamline decision-making and personalize search results.
• Improve overall design and functionality of the search experience to support the customer journey.
• Drive features related to personalization, recommendations, and information retrieval for a two-sided marketplace.
