As a Product Manager in Boarding Platform team within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Merchant Services organization, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities
  1. Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
  2. Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  3. Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  4. Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
  5. Monitors and drives product success through performance metrics, customer feedback and manages product issues while ensuring compatibility with evolving technologies.
  6. Maintains comprehensive product documentation and training materials.
  7. Supports Sales, Relationship Managers, Solutions teams, with product expertise and maintains strong stakeholder relationships.
  8. Supports Sales presentations, client discussions and Request For Proposal.
  9. Oversees vendor and partner engagements/relationships in collaboration with Payments partner groups.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  1. 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  2. Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
  3. Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  4. Demonstrated success in product management roles, ideally within the payments industry, showcasing a strong ability to manage and lead product lifecycles from ideation through to market launch and ongoing optimization.
  5. Extensive knowledge of payment systems, technologies, and industry trends, enabling the candidate to anticipate and respond to market changes effectively.
  6. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for driving change and influencing stakeholders across the broader payments organization.
  7. Ability to think strategically with a focus on long-term objectives while executing plans methodically.
  8. Proven ability to influence and drive the adoption of key product lifecycle activities.
  9. Must possess strong commercial aptitude and be adept at identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.

  4. Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in computer science, business, or related field.
