Job summary

Iridium is seeking a Product Manager for Next Generation Devices to drive product strategy across hardware and software operations on the Iridium network. You will guide cross-functional teams and shape how customers connect, integrate, and innovate in a connected world.

You’ll collaborate with LOB leaders, build business cases, and develop plans from concept through commercialization while aligning with strategic goals. Hybrid office model with travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years total experience, with 2-5 years in Product Management, Technology, or Sales/Sales Engineering.
• 1+ years in engineering development role, specifically hardware, firmware or RF.
• Strong relationship-building skills for collaboration with leadership and external partners.
• Excellent communication skills to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and issues.
• Analytical mindset with ability to understand problems and think critically.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy with line of business leaders, identify new products and services, and implement high-value ideas.
• Create business cases, market demand descriptions, product definitions, features for roadmaps.
• Identify requirements for products and services, networks, gateways, or provisioning systems.
• Translate marketing requirements into scalable technical implementation with guidance.
• Build and maintain product plans, including competitive analysis, pricing, partnerships, market share goals.
• Lead cross-functional execution with project plans through development, beta, and commercialization.
• Develop technical, user, and marketing documentation for internal and external use.
