Job summary

Core4ce seeks a Technical Product Manager to lead a modeling and decision-support application for the Defense Health Agency. The platform enables planners to explore healthcare-system scenarios through simulation, data integration, and interactive analysis, requiring close collaboration with users, subject-matter experts, engineers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in technical product management, product ownership, user research, business analysis, software delivery, or a comparable role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience interviewing users and translating findings into actionable product requirements.
  • Experience creating clear user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, or development-ready documentation.
  • Experience managing a product backlog and planning work across multiple delivery increments.
  • Sufficient technical fluency to work effectively with software engineers and understand system behavior, data flows, dependencies, and engineering tradeoffs.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, including the ability to make sense of complex or ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make well-reasoned product decisions, and take ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Interview users and subject-matter experts to understand their workflows, decisions, constraints, and underlying needs.
  • Plan and facilitate product-discovery activities, including interviews, workflow analysis, prototype reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Translate high-level concepts into well-defined capabilities, features, and user stories for the development team.
  • Document acceptance criteria, business rules, workflows, assumptions, dependencies, and intended outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a product roadmap aligned with program objectives and SAFe Program Increments (PIs).
  • Lead PI preparation by refining priorities, dependencies, and ensuring proposed work is understood.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop achievable sprint plans and adapt priorities as needed.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog balancing user value, technical constraints, and program commitments.
  • Work with engineers during implementation to answer questions and resolve ambiguity.
  • Collaborate with domain experts as simulation logic and analytical capabilities are designed and validated.
