Title: Product Manager – Mobile Applications

Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite (Deerfield or Downtown Chicago)

Duration & Type: 2–3 month contract to start with high likelihood of extension

Compensation: Competitive W2 Hourly Rate ($74-$75), Access to Healthcare and Dental Insurance Plan of Choice. (Benefit Plans can be requested at time of submission to client)

Chamberlain Advisors is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our client’s mobile app team. This role will be focused on executing and driving the product roadmap, leading agile ceremonies, and ensuring alignment across technical and business teams. The ideal candidate has deep experience in mobile product management and Agile methodologies, along with a passion for user-centric product development and execution. What You’ll Be Accountable For

  • Lead all aspects of the product lifecycle for mobile applications, including scoping, planning, delivery, and quality assurance.
  • Manage project resources and timelines while ensuring execution aligns with stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee scrum ceremonies and backlog grooming; take on partial scrum master responsibilities.
  • Write stories and help shape the product roadmap through continuous user feedback and business input.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer and market insights into deliverables.
  • Monitor progress toward key milestones; proactively identify and address risks or blockers.
  • Communicate product value, progress, and roadmap alignment to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and support transition toward Dynatrace.

What Qualifications You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, with strong emphasis on mobile application product lifecycle
  • PMP or PMI certification preferred
  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and ceremonies; familiarity with backlog management and roadmap execution
  • Proven success in large-scale, multi-platform software environments
  • Strong skills in cross-functional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and technical team collaboration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and change management skills
  • Flexible, curious, and growth-oriented mindset
  • Experience using tools like Azure DevOps; familiarity with Dynatrace is a plus
  • Nice to Have: Master’s degree, mobile app discovery experience, market research exposure
