Job summary

PlanetArt seeks a Product Manager, Mobile to drive end-to-end mobile app initiatives and analytics. You will own the product roadmap, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and focus on AI-driven features to grow revenue across iOS and Android.

You will manage projects, define scope, and ensure timely releases in a hybrid work environment with three days in-office and two remote days.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years product management experience required.
  • Technical understanding of mobile/web technologies, platforms, and development methodologies.
  • Experience using AI to develop products and/or in a PM capacity.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with QA and testing practices for mobile/web applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute mobile development projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and mobile QA testers to foster collaboration.
  • Leverage SQL querying, GA/GA4, Amplitude and data visualization tools to monitor performance and guide strategy.
  • Leverage AI to improve internal efficiencies, develop prototypes, execute roadmap, and analyze data.
  • Create and maintain project timelines and manage release dates.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate risks or delays.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative and Content to refine scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure thorough testing of mobile apps.
  • Identify, document and prioritize defect resolution.
  • Create, update and maintain project documentation in Confluence.
  • Work with development and QA teams to resolve issues.
  • Monitor app performance, analytics and revenue; act as owner for the app business.

Job Overview
PlanetArt is looking for a Product Manager, Mobile to support the company's Mobile R&D department. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Product Management, Mobile, to plan vision, execution, and tracking of mobile app development products. Candidate will also be responsible for mobile analytics, revenue growth and ensuring the success of their apps. The Product Manager is the business owner for their websites. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Product Managers are accountable for the end-to-end customer experience, owning the full journey from the moment a customer discovers the site or app—through product exploration, purchase, fulfillment, and delivery. This includes ensuring that the physical product meets or exceeds customer expectations and that delivery timing aligns with promised and expected arrival windows. The role requires holistic thinking across acquisition, user experience, platform performance, operations, and post-purchase touchpoints to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience across the entire customer lifecycle.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Calabasas area as we operate on a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 remote)

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute mobile development projects
  • Define project scope, objectives, and requirements
  • Work closely with the team of Project Managers and mobile QA testers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Leverage advanced technical analytics skills including SQL querying, Google Analytics (GA/GA4), Amplitude and data visualization tools to monitor website performance, identify user behavior trends, and provide actionable insights that guide product strategy and feature optimization.
  • Leverage AI to improve internal efficiencies, develop prototypes, execute roadmap, and analyze data.
  • Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time. Own the release date
  • Monitor project progress and communicate potential risks or delays
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Creative and Content, to refine project scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of mobile applications
  • Identify, document and prioritize defect resolution
  • Create, update and maintain project documentation in Confluence
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to help resolve project-related issues
  • Monitor app performance, analytics and revenue. Act as an owner for the app business.

The compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 annual salary.
