A leading global hedge fund is seeking a Product Manager to drive strategic technology initiatives across its Middle Office, Post-Trade and Treasury functions. The role sits at the intersection of Technology, Trading, Operations and Finance, with responsibility for modernising critical investment infrastructure and improving how complex trading and financing workflows operate.

We are particularly interested in candidates from Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, Financial Services Technology or premier Management Consulting firms who combine strong analytical capabilities with experience delivering complex technology and business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmaps and delivery across Middle Office, Post-Trade and Treasury Technology.
• Lead initiatives involving trade lifecycle management, settlements, reconciliations, cash management and financing workflows.
• Partner with Trading, Treasury, Finance, Operations and Engineering teams to identify inefficiencies and develop scalable technology solutions.
• Drive improvements across collateral, margin, funding, liquidity and counterparty-related processes.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, product priorities and implementation plans.
• Oversee platform enhancements, systems integration, workflow automation and data-driven operational improvements.
• Work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts and senior stakeholders to deliver business-critical technology.
• Evaluate opportunities to simplify processes, improve controls and enhance operational scalability.

Requirements

• Experience in Product Management, Technology Consulting, Business Transformation or Technology Delivery within financial services.
• Strong understanding of Middle Office, Post-Trade, Treasury, Financing or Trading Operations.
• Background within an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, Asset Manager or premier Management Consulting firms
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology initiatives involving multiple business and engineering stakeholders.
• Ability to understand technical architecture, APIs, data flows, systems integration and operational workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience defining product roadmaps, prioritising requirements and driving projects through implementation.
• Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Exposure to Prime Brokerage, Securities Financing, Repo, Collateral Management or Liquidity Management.
• Experience with post-trade automation, treasury platforms or investment operations technology.
• Previous experience transitioning from a leading consulting firm into financial services product or technology management.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, enterprise platforms and financial data infrastructure.
