Job summary

Hexion Inc. is seeking a Product Manager – Material Management/Plant Support to drive accurate recipe entry, material optimization, and traceability across PF, MF, and UF resin systems. You will lead technical Teams, support plant operations, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.

The role emphasizes data integrity, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency within a chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, material management, and structural adhesives technology.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; able to enter and manage data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate recipe entry, edits, and maintenance in material management systems (e.g., SAP).
• Conduct lab cooks to optimize materials for PF, MF, and UF resins.
• Manage raw material entry, extension, and documentation.
• Coordinate and execute t-changes and t-blends per BU needs.
• Review recipes for accuracy, consistency, and production standards.
• Provide timely technical guidance during SO&E calls and plant support.
• Lead or coordinate investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate to monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
