Job summary

Rundoo in Redwood City is seeking a Product Manager Intern for Summer 2027. You will scope new verticals, interview store owners, and translate findings into an actionable product roadmap.

You’ll collaborate with the CEO, engineering, and GTM teams to prioritize features that unlock growth in overlooked, traditional industries, while gaining real product-building experience and visibility into the startup’s strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Communicate messy field research clearly and defensibly.

• Collaborate well across engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Market Research: define and size ICP for a new vertical (lumber, flooring, plumbing, auto, and more).
• Field Research: talk to store owners and operators directly—in person where possible.
• Roadmap Support: translate field research into a sequenced set of feature ideas with engineering.
• GTM Research: identify channels, partners, and events for a new industry.
• Pilot Outreach: assist cold outreach to prospective pilot customers in your vertical.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with CEO, engineering, and GTM teams to stay grounded in what’s buildable and sellable.
