Job summary

TikTok is seeking an intern for the Product team in San Jose. You will contribute to developing and supporting TikTok's international video products, including LIVE, user growth, and search, by collaborating with engineers and designers across teams.

The program offers hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply coursework to real-world challenges. Interns gain practical experience, explore career paths, and participate in workshops and events with industry professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing and completing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
• Foundational understanding of product management or product design from coursework or internships.
• Experience analyzing data sets from academic projects or internships with data-informed insights.
• Experience gathering and translating requirements through group projects or internships.
• Basic proficiency with analytical tools and design principles.
• Strong communication skills demonstrated in presentations or internships.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for mobile and web-based products.
• Lead ideation, development, and launch of tools, platforms, and products.
• Drive product development with engineers and designers while maintaining team health.
• Collaborate with teams to drive product vision and define requirements across groups.
• Integrate usability studies and market analysis into product requirements to improve productivity and user satisfaction.
• Define and analyze metrics to inform product success and track key KPIs.
• Maintain adaptability in a dynamic environment with creative problem solving.
