Job Description

The Product Manager for Revalize's LAI is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving the development and growth of our lighting software products, specifically the LAI (Lighting Analysts) product. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise in lighting illumination engineering and product management skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of lighting technologies, market trends, and customer needs, as well as experience in the B2B software space. This role involves collaborating closely with Engineering, Services, Support, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver innovative lighting software solutions to the market.

Location:

  • Remote in the United States (EST only)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the strategic direction for lighting software products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends in the lighting industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality lighting software solutions.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely and predictable product releases.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure product satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Lighting Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of lighting technologies, industry best practices, and market trends.
  • Product management experience, ideally with a focus on lighting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of optical engineering principles and their application in lighting design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to lighting and illumination engineering.
  • Ideally have experience with illumination predictive modeling and lighting calculations, ensuring compliance with a wide range of lighting standards.
  • Analytically savvy & data-driven: Proficiency in utilizing data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive business strategies.
  • Disciplined execution: Detail-oriented and organized, this leader prioritizes effectively, excels at time management, and anticipates well in decision-making.
  • Strategic frameworks: Applies strategic frameworks to guide planning and decision-making.
