Job summary

Worldpay in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Product Manager II to define, deliver, and optimize digital experiences for SMB merchants. You will manage product capabilities across their lifecycle—from discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.

You will translate merchant needs into product requirements, define visions and roadmaps, lead cross-functional teams with Engineering and UX, track KPIs, and balance merchant value with business impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, payments, fintech, banking, accounting, or financial operations.
  • Experience independently managing digital product capabilities or moderately complex initiatives.
  • Knowledge of payment processing, merchant acquiring, merchant services, settlements, reconciliation, reporting, or account servicing.
  • Experience developing customer-facing digital products such as portals, mobile applications, self-service platforms, or embedded experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using qualitative and quantitative data to make product decisions.
  • Experience defining KPIs, measuring product performance, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions, build alignment, and manage competing priorities without direct authority.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for assigned digital capabilities.
  • Independently lead moderately complex initiatives from discovery through delivery, launch, adoption, and optimization.
  • Translate merchant needs, business priorities, data, and market opportunities into product requirements and prioritized plans.
  • Prepare and present product plans, business cases, roadmap updates, risks, tradeoffs, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop business scope documents, product requirements, customer journeys, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release recommendations.
  • Partner with Engineering and User Experience to deliver intuitive, accessible, mobile-first products.
  • Use customer feedback, behavioral analytics, and operational metrics to identify friction and improve merchant outcomes.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, digital activation, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate product dependencies, release readiness, and stakeholder communications across teams and regions.
  • Contribute to budget and portfolio planning, including initiative prioritization and roadmap sequencing.
  • Evaluate product financial performance and support recommendations that balance merchant value, business impact, and delivery complexity.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, technology vendors, and strategic partners when needed.

What you\'ll own

As a Product Manager II, you will define, deliver, and optimize digital experiences that help small and medium-size merchants manage and grow their businesses.

  • You will independently manage product capabilities across their lifecycle, from customer discovery and strategy through delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. Your work may span merchant portals, mobile applications, onboarding, payments, reporting, account servicing, self-service, and value-added services.

What you\'ll bring

  • Four or more years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, payments, fintech, banking, accounting, or financial operations.
  • Experience independently managing digital product capabilities or moderately complex initiatives.
  • Knowledge of payment processing, merchant acquiring, merchant services, settlements, reconciliation, reporting, or account servicing.

  • Familiarity with APIs, integrated software partners, or platform-based product capabilities.
  • Experience conducting customer research, usability testing, pilots, or product experimentation.
