Job description

Are you ready to take your career Global?

The senior manager, product management will lead product strategy, roadmap development, and product management execution for a strategic component of the Genius portfolio, one of Global Payments' flagship commerce and software platforms.

The Genius portfolio powers integrated point-of-sale, digital commerce, and customer engagement experiences that help businesses serve their customers more effectively across physical and digital channels. As part of this organization, you will be responsible for a portfolio that combines foundational commerce platform capabilities with highly visible customer-facing experiences, including self-service ordering, mobile applications, web ordering, and emerging digital engagement solutions.

You will lead a team of Product Managers and partner closely with Engineering, Product Delivery, UX, Sales, Customer Success, and customers to define and execute a product vision that balances platform stability, operational excellence, user experience modernization, innovation, and long-term business growth.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of a highly strategic product portfolio while building scalable product management practices, strengthening product discipline, and delivering market-leading customer experiences.

What you'll own:
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers responsible for a portfolio of point-of-sale and digital commerce products. Establish clear ownership, accountability, product management best practices, and a culture focused on customer outcomes, innovation, and execution excellence.
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for an integrated commerce portfolio that includes point-of-sale capabilities and customer-facing digital experiences. Define priorities based on market opportunities, customer needs, business objectives, platform health, and user experience insights.
  • Establish and continuously improve a scalable Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and product operating model. Build repeatable processes for discovery, research, prioritization, roadmap planning, requirements management, launch readiness, and product performance measurement.
  • Drive the transition from a custom-request-driven roadmap toward a strategic, product-led roadmap informed by market opportunities, user needs, competitive trends, and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead the evolution of a connected commerce ecosystem spanning point-of-sale, self-service ordering, mobile applications, web ordering, and emerging digital engagement channels. Ensure a seamless and consistent experience across all touchpoints.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Product Delivery, and UX teams to define scalable and maintainable solutions that balance innovation, reliability, performance, and customer value.
  • Champion user experience modernization across both operator-facing and customer-facing products. Influence design strategy and user experience decisions that improve usability, accessibility, adoption, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead product strategy and execution for key modernization initiatives, including mobile applications, self-service solutions, digital ordering, and next-generation commerce experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Regularly engage with customers to understand operational challenges, gather feedback, validate product direction, and communicate roadmap strategy.
  • Develop a structured approach for gathering market intelligence, customer insights, competitive analysis, and performance metrics. Translate findings into actionable recommendations that influence investment decisions and roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to align product investments with market opportunities and customer needs. Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, priorities, and business outcomes across all levels of the organization.
  • Provide thought leadership and industry expertise related to point-of-sale, digital ordering, customer engagement, omnichannel commerce, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to leverage innovation, including AI-enabled capabilities, where they create meaningful business and customer value.
  • Not an exhaustive list; other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Typically a minimum of 10 years of product management, product strategy, or related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading, mentoring, or managing Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience defining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks.
  • Experience with Point of Sale, digital ordering, commerce, hospitality technology.
  • Experience building scalable product management processes, operating models, or Product Development Lifecycle frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, UX, Design, Delivery, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success organizations.
  • Experience presenting product strategy, roadmaps, and business outcomes to executive stakeholders and customers.
It's a bonus if you have the following!
  • Experience leading product organizations responsible for both platform capabilities and customer-facing digital experiences.
  • Experience with self-service kiosks, mobile applications, web ordering, digital commerce, loyalty, or customer engagement solutions.
  • Experience leading modernization initiatives involving mobile, UX transformation, or cloud-based platform evolution.
  • Experience managing complex B2B SaaS, enterprise software, hospitality technology, or commerce platforms.
