Job summary

Verisk is seeking a Product Manager I for the Xactimate suite in Lehi, UT. You’ll lead a cross-functional trio—product, design, and tech lead—to solve customer and business problems in a scalable way within the property insurance industry.

You will own discovery, delivery, and stakeholder alignment, using data to validate opportunities and measure outcomes. This hybrid role collaborates across claims, marketing, and sales, with opportunities for growth and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
• 1–3 years in product management or related roles.
• Proficiency with AI to improve results.
• Demonstrate product discovery to define problems and outcomes.
• Solid grasp of agile and product operating model principles.
• Excellent storytelling and documentation skills.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and humility.
• Knowledge of property claims/estimation industries preferred.
• Experience with product analytics tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong time and priority management.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with the product trio to understand the problem space.
• Validate ideas with real users via interviews and tests.
• Prioritize opportunities based on desirability, viability, feasibility, and usability.
• Translate opportunities into user stories and success criteria.
• Maintain a transparent backlog aligned to priorities.
• Deliver valuable iterations with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to ship high-quality solutions.
• Define release cadence and track success metrics.
• Use analytics and feedback to steer product decisions.
• Support strategy for property estimating solutions.
• Collaborate with claims ops, marketing, sales and CS teams.
• Prepare for scale into PM II with broader scope.
