Job summary

Farm Family is seeking a Product Manager I to drive growth and profitability for the assigned line of business or region with minimal oversight from leadership. You will collaborate with regional teams and internal partners to identify and execute growth initiatives and work closely with the Senior Product Manager to develop strategy.

This is an on-site role. Responsibilities include evaluating pricing, collaborating with underwriting and marketing, and leading product management development.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Property and Casualty Insurance Products.
• Understanding of the operational nature of product implementation and the product life cycle.
• Ability to work independently with excellent organization skills and initiative.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to travel on behalf of the company.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with agents, underwriting and actuarial.
• Ability to effectively manage high pressure situations.
• Strong negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for growth and profitability for assigned LOB or Region.
• Identify potential vendors to offer value-added services.
• Develop strategy to profitably grow markets with Underwriting and Marketing.
• Cultivate a culture where ideas are welcomed and shared within the product management team.
• Review pricing, design features, and associated success factors and make recommendations.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Four to six years industry experience
