Job summary

Eaton’s Industrial Controls Division is seeking a Product Manager, High Performance Drives to lead the strategy, roadmap, and growth initiatives for the High-Performance LV VFDs. This hybrid role supports the business owner for the product family, collaborating across sales, engineering, and operations to translate market opportunities into value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience, including product management, marketing, and/or sales.
• Minimum 5 years of product management experience within the electrical market (power distribution, motor control, automation).
• Experience leading new product development, product launches, and commercialization initiatives in a cross‑functional environment.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including forecasting, pricing, margin management, and business case development.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC; Beachwood, OH; Moon Township, PA or Menomonee Falls, WI will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the product family strategic plan and roadmap aligned with division objectives and market opportunities.
• Drive VoC and market research to identify unmet needs and influence product strategy and investment decisions.
• Lead pricing, positioning, and lifecycle management to improve profitability and market share.
• Lead product lifecycle management from development to obsolescence, collaborating with sales, engineering, and finance.
