Job summary

Olin is seeking a Product Manager in Clayton, MO to lead strategy and performance for assigned product categories from concept through commercialization. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing to launch new products, align production with demand, and drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum five years of Product Development, Sales, or related experience.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
• Pricing direction and product line decision-making experience.
• Understanding of inventory and manufacturing schedules and their impact on sales.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration abilities.
• Self-starter who thrives in a team environment.
• Driver's license and ability to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop an annual business plan for assigned product categories with volume and profitability targets.
• Gather market intel and analyze competitive landscape.
• Set targets and profitability goals for all product lines.
• Provide technical specs and delivery estimates to support Sales.
• Ensure forecasts align with inventory and production plans.
• Monitor monthly sales performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to optimize capacity to meet sales goals.
• Lead creation and delivery of new products from ideation to launch.
