Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Manager to guide enterprise cloud compute products from concept to launch, connecting technical and business teams and working with engineers, designers, and marketers to deliver scalable solutions.

In this role, you will interact with large customers and executives, shaping strategy for Google Compute Engine and driving AI-first product innovations across the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and the public cloud ecosystem.
  • 2 years developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand pain points with customers and partners to identify product opportunities.
  • Define strategy, roadmap, and backlog for emerging product areas.
  • Collaborate with internal product managers and teams to remove onboarding friction.
  • Work with engineering teams to execute on product goals and launch new products and features.
  • Drive product adoption and scalable customer success.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure (e.g., Storage, Compute, Networking) and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, engaged positioning.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), enterprise applications, cloud migration discovery or cloud migration planning.
  • Experience utilizing an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-first approach to product management and problem-solving.
  • A strong customer-centric approach with a passion for understanding and addressing customer needs.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
