Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Cloud Billing Product Manager to guide products from conception to launch, connecting technical and business contexts. You will break down complex problems, define goals, and drive end-to-end delivery with cross-functional teams.

You'll own roadmaps and PRDs for the portfolio, collaborating with engineers, solutions architects, and GTM partners to land solutions across Lead-to-Cash. Google Cloud serves customers worldwide.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies in networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, or other software infrastructure areas.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product goals and secure buy-in for the overall product narrative and direction.
  • Validate market size and opportunity (user-based, strategic opportunity, business).
  • Own and define product roadmaps.
  • Prepare and manage PRDs with engineering, PgM, and UX teams to translate requirements into OKRs.
  • Lead metrics collection and tracking for new or existing products.

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • 2 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience building enterprise platforms and lead-to-cash products.
  • Experience working with remote teams.

You will work with customers, partners, product managers, solutions architects, and GTM colleagues to understand our ecosystem, and identify opportunities for innovation. You will define and own a goal, roadmap and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) for this portfolio and be responsible for landing solutions across our Lead-to-Cash process.

  • Drive development and secure buy-in for a product goal that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.
  • Manage validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business).
  • Own and define product roadmaps.
  • Manage Product Requirement Documents by partnering with engineering, Program Management (PgM), and User Experience (UX) teams to translate product requirements into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Lead processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
