Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to guide sovereign-vertical products from concept to launch. You will bridge the technical and business worlds, breaking down complex problems to drive product development and cross-functional collaboration with engineers, UX, and sales teams.

The role emphasizes security, compliance, and market-focused go-to-market strategy, with a chance to influence regulated industries on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 10 years of product management or related technical experience.
• 5 years taking technical products from conception to launch.
• 5 years working with IaaS/SaaS architectures and cloud/virtualization tech.
• US Government TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Define, lead, and execute a cohesive product strategy for Google Cloud products in sovereign verticals.
• Identify market opportunities and build business cases for sovereignty initiatives.
• Understand markets, competition, and customer requirements to inform development.
• Partner with engineering and infrastructure to deliver key product solutions.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and build relationships to monetize sovereign market opportunities.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
• 5 years of experience working with infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and software as a service (SaaS) architecture, Cloud platform solutions or virtualization technologies.
• Current and active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  
• 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  
• 7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  
• 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  
• 5 years of experience in software development or engineering.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
