Job summary

Retool is seeking a Product Manager to own the integration platform, turning complex integrations into cohesive experiences for enterprise users. You’ll collaborate with customers, engineering, design, and GTM teams to drive builder adoption.

You’ll lead 0-1 initiatives from discovery to launch, shape architecture decisions, evaluate build-vs-partner options, and define success metrics for data connections, permissions, and reusable design primitives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience for technical or enterprise users.
• Experience evolving a fast-growing product into a scalable platform.
• Strong platform thinking: design for reuse and shared primitives.
• Experience with data connectivity, integration platforms, or developer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy and roadmap for Retool’s integration platform, grounding priorities in customer evidence, technical constraints, and business impact.
• Lead 0-1 projects from early customer research through launch, adoption, and iteration.
• Work closely with engineering and design to shape both the underlying platform and the builder-facing experience.
• Explore new product ideas with customers and determine which problems are worth solving.
• Evaluate build-versus-partner decisions and work with third-party partners where they can meaningfully improve the product experience.
• Make clear product and technical tradeoffs without waiting for broad consensus.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand customer needs, communicate product value, and build a compelling case for investment.
• Define success through outcomes such as ease of setup, resource reuse, builder adoption, and customer value.
