Job summary

Plaid is seeking a Product Manager for Data Supply Health and Traffic. You will define how Plaid allocates provider capacity, scales traffic, and manages paid data access economics to improve end-user experiences.

You’ll own the strategy, partner with engineering/data teams, and translate constraints into clear internal priorities. In the first year, you’ll build the operating framework for traffic allocation, cost efficiency, and metrics to guide the area, collaborating across product and data

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ in product management or equivalent founder/operator roles.
• Demonstrated analytical rigor and comfort with data, cost models, and metrics.
• Able to lead across engineering, data, and product teams and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Plaid’s strategy and roadmap for data-supply, traffic, health, and cost efficiency.
• Build and prioritize traffic-optimization initiatives leveraging ML and provider negotiations.
• Bridge data-provider relationships with internal product teams and translate constraints into priorities.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to understand system behavior and drive data-driven decisions.
• Establish and track core metrics; identify risks and measure progress.
