Job summary

Sage is seeking a Product Manager to lead the data analytics and advisory platform for accounting firms. You will shape the product vision, develop dashboards, and collaborate with accountants, data scientists, and engineers to turn financial data into actionable insights.

This hybrid role requires three days in our Atlanta office, with responsibilities spanning roadmap, stakeholder alignment, and AI-enabled insights to improve client outcomes and practice performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with accountants, practice leaders, and tech teams to drive adoption and identify risks/opportunities.
• Support client segmentation and portfolio-level trend analysis to enhance advisory services.
• Identify AI-driven insights, forecasting, anomaly detection, and financial risk identifications.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of data analytics and advisory platforms for accountancy firms.

As a Product Manager at Sage, you will focus on helping accountancy practices transform financial and operational data into actionable insights, enabling accountants to deliver higher-value advisory services to their clients.

You will combine product management expertise with knowledge of accounting and financial analytics, working closely with accountants, data specialists, and engineers to deliver data platform solutions that turn financial data into actionable insights.

Please note that this role is hybrid and requires working 3 days a week from our Atlanta office.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product vision and roadmap for analytics and advisory solutions serving accountancy firms.
• Develop centralized dashboards that provide visibility into client portfolio performance, profitability, cash flow, and financial health.
• Collaborate with accountants, practice leaders, and technology teams to drive adoption and identify client risks, opportunities, and performance insights.
• Support client segmentation and portfolio-level trend analysis to improve advisory services and firm performance.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven insights, forecasting, anomaly detection, and financial risk identification.

Requirements

• Product management experience in accounting, financial analytics, FinTech, or B2B SaaS.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and business performance metrics.
• Experience building analytics products, dashboards, and data-driven solutions.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desirable

• Experience working with accountancy firms and platforms such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of benchmarking, forecasting, BI tools, SQL, and data integrations.
• Experience applying AI to financial analysis and predictive insights.
