Our team develops intelligent AMR software control systems to optimize industrial and logistics operations. If you’re passionate about automation, robotics, and software-driven solutions, this is your opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

About The Role

We are looking for a Product Owner – AMR Software Control Systems to support the development of next-generation autonomous mobile robots. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features that enhance AMR capabilities, fleet management, and autonomous decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in product ownership while working on real-world applications of robotics and automation.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own and refine the product backlog for AMR software control systems, ensuring alignment with business and engineering priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and key software features for AMR navigation, localization, and fleet coordination.
  • Support product development cycles by gathering requirements, documenting use cases, and ensuring smooth feature implementation.
  • Analyze system performance and user feedback to inform product decisions and improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure AMR software integration with hardware, cloud platforms, and industrial automation solutions.
  • Communicate product updates and priorities to stakeholders, ensuring visibility into development progress.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 2+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a related role in robotics, automation, or software development.
  • You have a basic understanding of AMR software, including motion planning, localization, perception, or fleet management (prior experience in robotics is a plus but not required).
  • You have experience working with Agile methodologies, writing user stories, and managing a product backlog.
  • You are detail-oriented and comfortable translating technical concepts into clear requirements for development teams.
  • You are a strong communicator and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • You are passionate about automation and excited to grow your career in autonomous robotics.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in robotics product ownership while working with a talented team shaping the future of AMRs at Magna New Mobility!
