Job summary

Chronos Systems Inc. is seeking a Group Product Manager to define and execute a strategy for a unified API platform that supports design, security, publish, monitor and consumption.

You will lead cross-functional teams to ship scalable API programs, drive enterprise adoption, integrate AI-driven insights, and ensure governance, reliability and performance at scale.

This role requires deep API architecture knowledge and a proven track record in SaaS/B2B environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7–10+ years PM experience in SaaS/B2B, specializing in API management.
• Proven success shipping and scaling data products with measurable impact.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and execution in fast-paced environments.
• Deep expertise in API Gateway, API Management, Developer Portals and API Lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of API architecture including AuthN/AuthZ, API Security, Identity Management, Telemetry, Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with API management tools (Apigee, Kong) and tools (Azure, AWS, GCP) and iPaaS (Boomi, Mulesoft).
• Familiarity with service mesh, serverless gateway, AsyncAPI, edge computing, predictive autoscaling, secrets manager.
• Experience integrating AI/ML-driven insights into API monitoring and discovery.
• Strong analytics for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and semantic data enrichment.
• Ability to understand customer needs across platform teams, development teams, and API consumers.
• Translate complex technical concepts into intuitive product capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, security, legal, and GTM teams to drive enterprise adoption.
• Use customer research, data analytics, and competitive insights to inform decisions.
• Experience analyzing large-scale API platforms to optimize usage trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the product strategy for a unified API Platform supporting Design, Secure, Publish, Monitor and Consumption.
• Define and prioritize the roadmap to become the leader in Full Lifecycle API Management market.
• Deliver the best experience for API Platform owners, developers and consumers.
• Leverage AI to enhance API discovery and adoption that increases ROI for enterprises.
• Integrate semantic enrichment to automate API documentation and guides to improve API consumer experience.
• Integration predictive analytics to offer advanced monitoring and alerting capabilities to API Platform teams.
• Work with AI research teams to infuse machine learning into API services, driving continuous optimization and smarter decision-making.
• Build API management capabilities into the core platform, ensuring enterprises have built-in governance, monitoring, development speed and ease of consumption.
• Ensure compatibility with the rest of orchestration suite, such as asset lifecycle management, developer API support, deployment options, operations and observability, and Embed.
• Ensure the platform meets enterprise security, compliance, and scalability requirements, making it the go-to API management solution for large-scale deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and GTM teams to ensure seamless feature adoption.
• Inspire confidence in GTM teams, as well as customers, to become the most innovative leader in the API Management space.
• Act as a thought leader internally and externally, driving customer trust and enterprise adoption.
