Job summary

Pi.Security in San Francisco is seeking a Product Manager to shape what we build next. You’ll own major roadmap areas, work directly with founders, engineers, and security researchers, and spend time with security and engineering leaders who rely on Pi daily.

This is an early product role with no predefined processes to inherit. You’ll partner across teams to balance model capabilities, human approval, and measurable outcomes while shaping how Pi integrates with development workflows and tools,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience with shipping technical products
• Experience building products for developers, security teams, or other technical users
• Technical depth to read PRs, follow architecture discussions, reason about model behavior
• Hands-on daily use of AI coding tools & agents with an informed POV
• Experience with probabilistic outputs, setting acceptance bars and measuring quality
• Clear writing and ability to drive decisions across engineering, customers, and leadership
• Comfort with ambiguity and end-to-end ownership in early-stage company
• Willingness to work onsite in San Francisco five days a week

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for major Pi platform areas from discovery through launch
• Talk with security/engineering teams weekly and turn feedback into what we ship
• Stay close to the model and design for capabilities of frontier models
• Define trust bar for autonomous agents and measurement through evals
• Shape Pi's integration into GitHub, issue trackers, chat, and coding agents
• Develop memory/context model to capture customer codebases and history
• Prototype with AI coding tools before engineering commits
• Define success before launch and drive adoption and outcomes
• Collaborate with sales/marketing on positioning, launches, and adoption
• Build lightweight product practices for scaling the team
