Job summary

Pi.Security in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Product Manager to own roadmap areas of the Pi platform and collaborate with founders, engineers, and security researchers. This early role requires shaping the product with no pre-existing backlog, while working five days a week onsite with the team.

You’ll partner with sales and marketing and define the trust bar for autonomous agents, ensuring the product delivers measurable outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience shipping technical products used by real users.
• Experience building products for developers, security teams, or other technical users.
• Technical depth to work with engineers: read PRs, follow architecture discussions, reason about model behavior.
• Hands-on daily use of AI coding tools and agents, with an informed view on their strengths and limits.
• Experience with probabilistic outputs, setting acceptance bars, and measuring quality over time.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for major areas of the Pi platform from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Talk with security and engineering teams weekly; turn feedback into what we ship.
• Stay close to the model: understand frontier models and future capabilities.
• Define the trust bar for autonomous agents and how success is measured over time.
• Shape how Pi fits into GitHub, issue trackers, chat, and coding agents.
• Develop memory/context models to capture customer codebases, decisions, and history.
• Prototype with AI coding tools before engineering commits to ideas.
• Define success criteria before launch and drive adoption and outcomes.
