Job summary

HUD is seeking a Product Manager to own the data marketplace product, enabling vendors to create high-quality RL environments and training data using HUD's tools. You’ll collaborate with engineering, research, and GTM to translate complex needs into product decisions.

You will own the marketplace lifecycle from discovery to launch, improve vendor onboarding, and enhance how research teams discover and access environments and data.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a live software product from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Ability to simplify technically complex workflows for users.
• Experience talking directly with users to identify problems and set clear priorities.
• Ability to balance user needs, business impact and engineering constraints.
• Comfort using qualitative feedback and quantitative signals to assess impact.
• Clear written communication and ability to align engineers and partners in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the marketplace product lifecycle from understanding needs through prioritization, launch, and iteration.
• Improve vendor onboarding, submission, feedback, and offerings on HUD.
• Improve how research teams discover, assess, and access environments and training data.
• Turn complex requirements into reliable platform workflows with cross-functional teams.
• Define and track marketplace health, adoption, and user experience; decide what to build next.
