The role requires a chemistry background, PM experience, and strong analytical skills to forecast demand and optimize pricing. 6-month engagement with potential for extension, based in-office in Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, with experience in inorganic chemistry preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of product management experience in a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills to forecast and track results.
• Proven success in launching new products and managing product portfolios.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategies for applied chemistry product lines, including salts, inorganics, metals, and materials.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including product discontinuation strategies to ensure seamless customer experience and revenue transition.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability by setting prices, margins, and supporting sales, technical support, marketing, and operations teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, develop marketing strategies, and identify market opportunities.
• Lead development of product roadmaps, launch plans, and value propositions to meet customer needs and technological advancements.
