Talently is seeking a Product Manager to own the coatings portfolio and lead commercial strategy across North America. You will partner with customers and cross-functional teams to drive profitability, market leadership, and long-term product sustainability.

You will develop strategies, manage pricing, and oversee lifecycle management while collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to achieve growth and operational excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 5+ years in product management, marketing, or related industrial B2B roles.
• Strong focus on commercial strategy, pricing, profitability, and portfolio management.
• Experience with coatings, metals, or related manufacturing industries.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop short- and long-term strategies to drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
• Own coatings product portfolio strategy, pricing framework, lifecycle management.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
• Lead product roadmaps, new product introductions, and innovation initiatives.
• Create value propositions, sales enablement materials, and product literature.
• Represent the product in customer visits, field trials, and technical consultations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Marketing, and Finance.
• Establish product KPIs and support budgeting/forecasting, ensuring regulatory and EHS alignment.
• Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

As Product Manager, you will serve as the strategic and technical champion for the coatings portfolio, partnering with customers and cross-functional teams to drive profitability, market leadership, and long-term product sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and margin improvement.
• Own the coatings product portfolio strategy, financial performance, pricing framework, segmentation, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, emerging coating technologies, customer requirements, and growth opportunities.
• Lead product rationalization, innovation roadmaps, and new product introduction initiatives.
• Build value propositions, sales enablement materials, product literature, and promotional strategies.
• Serve as the primary commercial and technical product expert during customer visits, field trials, demonstrations, and technical consultations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Marketing, and Finance to deliver product and business objectives.
• Establish product KPIs, support budgeting and forecasting, resolve customer challenges, and ensure alignment with regulatory and EHS requirements.
• Up to 40% travel, some international.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, technical sales, or related industrial B2B roles.
• Strong experience with commercial strategy, pricing, profitability, portfolio management, and market analysis.
• Knowledge of foundry, coatings, refractory, materials, chemical, metals, or manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from strategy through execution.
• Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, including occasional international travel.
• Strong ownership, planning, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• MBA or advanced business training.
• Experience with product application engineering, technical troubleshooting, or field trials.
• Exposure to metals processing, quality control, product development, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing or collaborating with both hourly and salaried personnel.
• Background working with distributors, strategic partners, industry associations, trade shows, or technical conferences.
• Experience with value-based pricing, product rationalization, or regional portfolio transformation.
