About The Role
The role owns the product lifecycle for a B2B SaaS platform - from discovery and roadmap definition through sprint-level execution with engineering and design. The platform serves enterprise customers across data integration, workflow automation, and API-driven workflows, where decisions about prioritization directly shape revenue and retention.
This is a hands-on PM role: writing specs, running discovery, negotiating scope with engineers, and shipping. The PM sits at the intersection of technical feasibility and business value, and is the single accountable owner for their product area's roadmap and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for a core product area, translating company strategy into a sequenced, quarterly delivery plan with clear success metrics
- Conduct customer discovery interviews and synthesize findings from support tickets, product analytics (Amplitude/Mixpanel), and sales feedback into prioritized opportunities
- Write detailed product specs and user stories with acceptance criteria, partnering directly with engineering leads on technical design tradeoffs
- Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release scoping; make real-time tradeoff calls on scope, sequencing, and technical debt
- Define and track KPIs - activation, retention, feature adoption - using SQL and analytics tooling; report outcomes to leadership with clear narratives
- Coordinate go-to-market launches with marketing and sales, including positioning, enablement materials, and beta programs
- Serve as the decision-maker for feature requests and escalations, maintaining a transparent, criteria-based prioritization process
What We Are Looking For
- 3-7 years of product management experience, ideally on a B2B SaaS or platform product with technical buyers
- Demonstrated ability to write crisp specs and drive scoped delivery through 2-week sprint cycles with cross-functional teams
- Working technical fluency: able to discuss APIs, data models, and system architecture with engineers, and comfortable reading SQL or basic code
- Strong analytical foundation: experience defining metrics, running experiments, and making data-informed prioritization decisions
- Track record of shipping - candidates should be able to walk through 2-3 products they took from discovery through launch and iteration
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS, engineering) or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with developer-facing products (APIs, SDKs), familiarity with integration/middleware platforms, or an MBA or prior startup experience
