We’re partnering with a growing B2B SaaS company to hire its Head of Product. This is the company’s top Product position, responsible for leading a small team and building the product capabilities, operating rhythm, and accountability needed for the next stage of growth.
This is a hands on player-coach role. You will set the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap while remaining directly involved in customer discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery, launch enablement, adoption, and post-release measurement.
You will be expected to own measurable product and commercial outcomes, not simply oversee a roadmap or introduce frameworks. The right person will know their numbers, create clarity around priorities and commitments, and help the team turn customer insight into predictable delivery and measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate has led Product Managers in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment, helped a company scale through a meaningful growth stage, and improved how a Product organization operates.
Location: Remote within the US. Candidates based in Central or Eastern time preferred.
What you’ll do
- Serve as the company’s senior-most Product leader and own product strategy, roadmap execution, team performance, and measurable business outcomes
- Directly manage, coach, and develop a small team of Product Managers while remaining personally involved in the product work
- Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery and problem validation through prioritization, requirements, delivery, launch enablement, adoption, and post-release measurement
- Strengthen customer discovery by creating consistent practices that translate customer insight into roadmap decisions and measurable product improvements
- Set and execute a multi-quarter roadmap tied to customer needs, company growth, engineering capacity, and commercial priorities
- Partner closely with Engineering to make realistic commitments, improve delivery predictability, reduce rework, and focus resources on the highest-impact opportunities
- Personally contribute to customer interviews, PRDs, user stories, workflow mapping, prioritization, product planning, and launch execution when needed
- Define clear baselines, targets, and success metrics for product investments, including adoption, retention, revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational performance
- Ensure launches are supported by effective Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and internal enablement plans
- Establish strong post-launch feedback loops and hold the Product team accountable for adoption and business impact after a feature is released
- Run and improve the company’s existing product operating cadence, using data and observed behavior to determine what should be maintained, changed, or removed
- Help determine the appropriate size and structure of the Product organization relative to engineering capacity, company priorities, and expected business impact
- Create transparency around priorities, tradeoffs, commitments, progress, and risks across executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Build a proactive Product culture grounded in ownership, sound judgment, clear communication, and reliable follow-through
- Use AI, automation, data, prototyping, and internal tooling to improve both the product and the way the Product team operates

- A track record of owning products across the full lifecycle, including post-release enablement, adoption, measurement, and iteration
- Demonstrated success transforming how a Product team conducts discovery, makes decisions, delivers work, or measures outcomes
- Strong command of the metrics behind your work, with the ability to explain the baseline, target, result, and business impact of the products and processes you have led
- Experience helping a B2B SaaS company scale through a meaningful growth stage, ideally from approximately $20M ARR toward $50M or beyond
