Job summary

The Home Depot’s Summer Internship program offers college students an opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment. During an 11-week period from May 17 - July 30, 2027, interns will be assigned to a functional team such as Supply Chain, Marketing, e-commerce, Technology, Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Pro, Home Services, Human Resources, etc.

• Exposure to modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies, XP principles.
• Experience in a fast-paced, fluid environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience communicating with and influencing functional and technical teams.
• Interest in collaborating across cross-functional teams on product design and development.
• Experience creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories.
• Experience conducting user research and testing to understand needs.
• Exposure to identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value.
• Preferred GPA 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers to understand needs and MVP.
• Translate goals into product strategy and priorities.
• Manage and groom product backlog.
• Partner with Finance for business plans.
• Conduct user research and tests to validate ideas.
