Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated invites students to join its 2027 Summer Internship in Engineering - Product Development. The 10 to 12-week program lets interns support New Product Development projects, applying engineering skills to design, test, and advance products.

Participants will work in teams, gain hands-on experience, present to local management at program end, and develop technical skills while learning about Hubbell and its operations.

Qualifications

• Full-time enrollment May–August 2027 pursuing a related degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom skills to on-the-job experiences.
• Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
• Collaborate in teams in a professional environment.
• Develop technical skills related to the internship.
• Provide a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
• Gain knowledge of Hubbell and the industry as it pertains to the Hubbell business location.
• Assist with process improvement.
• Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
